Alligator Pondweed can grow on dry land but is normally found in ponds, lakes and water ways.
Alligator Pondweed is an invasive species that can be aggressive in a pond or lake setting. Usually Alligator weed will group itself near shore lines or in the shallows. Alligator weed can be a great cover for bass or other game fish. Fluridone can be used but spot treating using topical methods above will work and be effective.
